We are so thankful that you are part of our special day!

We apologize for the inconvenience, we LOVE your little ones but this is a kid free wedding. We did not have the capacity to accommodate kids. Thank you for understanding and please let us know if you need help finding childcare. We are happy to help with recommendations.

Parking: There are some free spots and some metered spots right in front of the venue on Rockwell. There are also metered spots along Irving Park if you are willing to walk a little bit! We always recommend taking uber or lyft in the city.

Arrive at 6pm to grab a drink and a seat. Ceremony starts at 6:30pm. Cocktail party with apps/sandwiches, treats, and dancing to follow!

For Out Of Towners

There are not any hotels near the venue unfortunately. We recommend finding an airbnb in a neighborhood close by the River Room, or staying at a hotel by your airport. The airport hotel may cost a little less, however the uber or lyft ride will cost more if you are that far out. If you are interested in taking public transportation, feel free to reach out to us so we can help you choose the place best for you.

Airbnbs

Check out some airbnbs that we found in surrounding neighborhoods here!  All of these places should be no more than a 15-20 minute ride from the venue, and are all in areas we love. For the search we put 2-4 people and the dates 9/24-9/27. If you adjust those dates the prices will change.

Hotels

If you’re looking for a hotel as opposed to an Airbnb here a list of recommendations:

Downtown

Knickerbocker hotel

It’s a Chicago classic and once upon a time was a Capone casino and speakeasy! We stayed here ourselves on a staycation and can recommend it personally. Great ambience and located in the heart of the action downtown.

The Drake

"Refined 1920's hotel with classic rooms and lake views," Check out their famous Tea Time at Palm Court, even the Queen and Princess Diana had tea here!

Hotels near O’Hare

here are a few options that we found. We included a range to accommodate multiple budgets.
La Quinta $

Sheraton $$
Hilton $$$

Hotels near Midway
Sleep Inn $
Fairfield/Marriott $$
Doubletree/Hilton $$$

Neighborhoods close to the venue

Airbnb's linked above are in these neighborhoods

North Center- This area is family friendly and the closest to the venue. There are lots of restaurants and sports bars walking distance from most homes in this area.

Lincoln Square- This neighborhood is a GEM. This is one of our favorite places to go on dates. Very family friendly, close to a lovely little park called Wells Park, amazing restaurants and bars, and adorable little shops.

Roscoe Village- Another very family friendly spot with cute shops, lots of brunch places and little cafes and bars.

Old Irving- This area is a little off the beaten path. There are some great family owned Polish restaurants, and one of our favorite spots to hang out in Chicago- Eris Cider (first female owned brewery in Chicago!)

Avondale- Also a little off the beaten path and similar to Old Irving. It is an up and coming neighborhood with some old and some new spots to hangout.

Logan Square- This is our favorite Chicago neighborhood! It has been our home for 7+ years. There are amazing restaurants and bars around every corner, Palmer Square Park to run and play for kids, the Boulevard and Humboldt Park, and the 606 are a short walk or ride away with lovely walking paths and trees. Close to most major public transit options.

Lincoln Park- This is a VERY family friendly area. This is probably the furthest trek from the venue of the areas we listed, but it is close to the Lincoln Park Zoo, Oz Park, Bird Sanctuary, the lakefront, and close to downtown if you are interested in hitting up the Chicago museum campus, Magnificent Mile, American Girl Doll store, etc. There are many bars and restaurants both adult friendly and kid friendly : )
